Aldenwick is a small joinery studio making bespoke timber furniture and built-in cabinetry — designed with you, built by hand, one commission at a time.
Aldenwick began in a small shed in Castlemaine in 2018, out of a simple preference: furniture that's made properly, from good timber, by someone whose name is on it. Every piece is drawn, joined and finished in the same workshop — no flat-packs, no outsourcing.
We take on a handful of commissions at a time so each one gets the attention it deserves. That means honest joinery, natural oil finishes, and timber chosen for the piece it's becoming — not the other way around.

From a single side table to a whole fitted study — all designed around how you actually use the space.
Dining tables, desks, sideboards, beds and seating — designed with you and made to measure in solid timber.
Fitted wardrobes, bookshelves, window seats and kitchen cabinetry that make the most of awkward and beautiful rooms alike.
Sympathetic repair and refinishing of well-loved older pieces, keeping the character while bringing them back to life.
A small selection — get in touch to see the current portfolio in full.
We talk through the piece, the room, your timbers and your budget. No obligation.
You get drawings, timber samples and a fixed quote before anything is cut.
The piece is built by hand at the bench — usually four to ten weeks depending on scope.
Hand-finished, carefully wrapped and delivered — and cared for years afterwards.
"We asked for a table that our grandchildren would fight over. That's exactly what turned up."— K. & M., Daylesford
